Wednesday Discussion

Low Pressure will continue to pull moisture into our region and then slowly dissipate during the day on Thursday.  With a cyclonic flow aloft, it is likely clouds and showers may fill in during the afternoon hours even on Friday. The weekend looks decent though clouds thicken on Sunday leading to showers on Monday.

Model Disagreement — Here's My Read

The Euro is not in agreement on its weeklies and its MJO forecast.  A phase 6 is highly favored which leads to widespread cooling in north america.

My Bottom Line

Tonight: Showers and storms likely, mainly after 8 PM. A few could be heavy. Low near 64°F.

Thursday: Cloudy with lingering showers, especially morning. Clearing likely by mid-afternoon if the GFS scenario plays out. High 72°F.

Friday through the weekend: High pressure builds in. Sunny, comfortable, low humidity. This is the payoff. Highs in the mid-70s.

I'll post an update tomorrow morning after the overnight model runs. Questions or observations? Drop them in the comments below.
